80% of the coffee we drink every day is grown by 25 million small producers in rural areas of Brazil, Vietnam, Colombia, and Indonesia. The instability of market prices, the increasingly high production costs, the lack of basic services (schools, hospitals, transportation, and electricity), combined with climate change, make the daily work of these growers increasingly difficult.

This certification ensures that producers are guaranteed a fair price, an additional margin to invest in development projects for the communities (Fairtrade Premium), and technical support for sustainable cultivation practices and product quality improvement. It also supports the conversion to organic farming: the AMA blend is also organic.

The ICEA organic agriculture certification has been granted to GOURMET COFFEE ROASTING because, in every phase of the production journey of the products, a series of rules established in Italy by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies have been respected.
